Christmas gnome clipart: a gnome in a red knitted hat holding candy canes with poinsettias

Gnomes are the one Christmas character that works on almost everything: a kraft gift tag, a mug, a sticker sheet, a farmhouse sign. They’re cute without being childish, and a beard plus a hat reads as “Christmas” even at sticker size.

The hard part is choosing a style. A red-and-green farmhouse gnome looks wrong on a pastel card, and a watercolor gnome can look blurry on a t-shirt. So this list is sorted by look: cozy and classic, vintage, watercolor, icy blue, hot cocoa and funny. All eight bundles are PNG files with transparent backgrounds.

1. Cozy Knitted Christmas Gnomes

27 PNG12 × 12 in300 DPITransparentCommercial use

What’s inside: 27 gnomes in knitted hats, scarves and sweaters, surrounded by poinsettias, pine branches, holly berries, candy canes, gifts, stockings, mugs, wreaths, sleds, lanterns and firewood. The palette is warm red, green and cream.

Best for: the classic farmhouse Christmas look: gift tags, cards, wooden signs and kitchen towels.

Idea: print one gnome on a kraft tag, add a name in a script font and tie it to a jar of cookies. It looks handmade with almost no effort.

2. Frosty Winter Gnomes

25 PNG4000 × 4000 px300 DPITransparentCommercial & POD use

What’s inside: 25 Christmas gnomes. The preview mixes frosty, icy-blue winter gnomes (one decorating a snowy tree with silver ornaments) with classic red and green ones.

Best for: winter cards that should still work after December 25, and “Let it snow” designs.

Idea: use the icy-blue gnome on a dark navy card with silver text. Blue and silver feel calmer and more elegant than red and green.

3. Vintage Christmas Gnomes

30 PNG300 DPITransparentCommercial use

What’s inside: 30 nostalgic gnomes in muted red, forest green, warm beige, cream and dusty blue: gnomes holding a snow globe, a tray of cookies, a lantern and a small decorated tree.

Best for: rustic and vintage projects: junk journals, scrapbooking, ornaments and cards with an old-postcard feel.

Idea: place a gnome on aged paper texture in Canva and add a typewriter-style date. Instant vintage Christmas card.

4. Watercolor Woodland Gnomes

PNG300 DPITransparentCommercial use

What’s inside: soft watercolor gnomes in knitted hats with Christmas trees, ornaments, gifts, drums, lanterns, bells, pinecones, berries and woodland friends. Many designs are little scenes rather than single figures.

Best for: printed Christmas cards, stickers and scrapbook pages, where the soft watercolor edges look best.

Idea: because the designs are scenes, one gnome can fill a whole card front. Center it and add only a short greeting underneath.

5. Blue Christmas Gnomes

11 PNG4096 × 4096 px300 DPITransparentCommercial use

What’s inside: 11 gnomes dressed completely in blue, with a smooth, slightly 3D look.

Best for: anyone whose holiday palette isn’t red: blue and silver Christmas, winter birthdays, Hanukkah-season designs that need a neutral winter character.

Idea: a row of blue gnomes along the bottom of a party invitation makes a cute border.

6. Hot Cocoa Gnomes

10 PNG4000 × 4000 px300 DPITransparentCommercial use

What’s inside: 10 designs of gnomes with hot cocoa: big mugs, marshmallows, cookies and cozy plaid, as shown in the preview.

Best for: mug designs, cocoa bar signs, café menus and “cozy season” social posts.

Idea: make a hot cocoa bar sign in Canva: one gnome on the left, “Hot Cocoa Bar” in a bold script, and the toppings list in a simple sans.

7. Funny Christmas Gnomes

20 PNG300 DPITransparentCommercial use

What’s inside: 20 bright cartoon gnomes with Christmas trees, a sleigh, a snow globe, bells and piles of gifts.

Best for: kids’ crafts, classroom printables and sticker sheets. The clear outlines stay readable at small sizes.

Idea: make a “Find the gnome” Advent activity: hide one gnome on each page of a printable for kids.

8. Red & Green Gnome Bundle

36 PNG12 × 12 in300 DPITransparentCommercial & POD use

What’s inside: 36 whimsical gnomes in red and green outfits and Santa hats, with Christmas trees, gift boxes, wreaths, stockings and poinsettias.

Best for: sublimation and print-on-demand (the listing mentions POD use) and large sticker sheets: 36 files is the biggest set on this list.

Idea: pick six gnomes for a matching set of gift tags so every present under the tree gets a different one.

How to use gnome clipart in Canva

  1. Upload the PNG files: Uploads → Upload files. The transparent background means the gnome sits directly on your design.
  2. For a sticker look, select the gnome → Edit → Shadows → Outline (or Glow with blur 0) and choose white.
  3. Flip a gnome (Flip → Horizontal) so it “looks” toward your text. It’s a small trick that makes layouts feel balanced.
  4. Pair a detailed gnome with a simple font. Fancy clipart plus a fancy script fights for attention.

Tips for printing and Cricut

  • For print-then-cut stickers, keep each gnome under the Cricut print-then-cut size limit for your machine and add a white outline as a cutting margin.
  • Watercolor gnomes look best on matte paper; bold cartoon gnomes look great on glossy sticker paper.
  • For sublimation, use the bright, high-contrast bundles (like the red & green or funny gnomes); very soft watercolor can print paler on fabric.

A quick note on how to get these bundles

All eight bundles are on Creative Fabrica, and most are only available through their All Access subscription. When I wrote this (November 2026), they offered a free trial: it needs a card and renews into a paid plan unless you cancel, so check the current terms before you sign up. Each product page shows the licence; check it before using the clipart in products you sell.
