Cute Christmas Clipart PNG: 6 Bundles of Gnomes, Gingerbread & Penguins

If you search Pinterest for Christmas clipart, you’ll notice the same thing I did: the pins people save aren’t busy banners. They are one cute character on a transparent background: a gnome, a gingerbread man, a penguin in a scarf.
So this list is all about characters. Six bundles of cute Christmas clipart in PNG format, all with transparent backgrounds and 300 DPI files, so they work for printing as well as for Canva.

What’s inside: 23 PNG files of big-eyed Christmas animals in Santa hats and scarves (from the preview: koala, llama, penguin, reindeer, cat, bear and a gingerbread man).
Best for: sticker sheets, kids’ Christmas cards and Advent calendar labels.
Idea: make a 24-sticker Advent sheet in Canva: one animal per day, with the day number in a rounded font.
5. Watercolor Christmas Penguins
17 PNG12 × 12 in300 DPITransparent
What’s inside: 17 PNG files of cute penguins in Santa hats with gifts and candy canes, 12 × 12 inches at 300 DPI.
Best for: printed Christmas cards and sublimation (t-shirts, mugs, ornaments). The soft watercolor look prints beautifully.
Idea: one penguin per card, centered, with lots of white space and a short greeting underneath.
6. Penguin Snowman Watercolor Clipart
16 PNG~3000 × 3000 px300 DPITransparent
What’s inside: 16 PNG files of penguin-snowman characters in knitted hats and scarves, about 3000 × 3000 px at 300 DPI.
Best for: winter party invitations, January designs (they’re wintery, not only Christmassy) and nursery decor.
Idea: because they aren’t Santa-themed, you can keep using them after Christmas for “Hello Winter” or New Year posts.
How to use PNG clipart in Canva
- Unzip the download and upload the PNG files in Canva: Uploads → Upload files.
- Drag a character onto your design. The transparent background means no white box around it.
- For a sticker look, add a white outline: select the image → Edit → Shadows → Outline (or Glow with blur set to 0), then pick white.
- Keep the original size for print. Canva will scale it down, but a 300 DPI file gives you sharp edges on paper.
How to make printable Christmas stickers
- Put 6–12 characters on one A4 or US Letter page in Canva, with a little space between them.
- Add the white outline from step 3 above: it gives you a cutting margin.
- Download as PDF Print and print on matte or glossy sticker paper.
- Cut by hand, or use the Print Then Cut feature if you have a Cricut.
